If you’re driving through to enjoy the lit up homes and the Christmas Katy light show, please remember the following from our patrolling officer, Deputy Turner: pedestrians have the “right of way” at all intersections. Please do not let anyone especially kids stand up in the sunroof of your car while trying to see Christmas lights. That a “ticket-able” offense.

KATY FOLKS: EARLY VOTING STARTS THIS WEEK.

In this election, I'm supporting Duke Keller for Katy ISD Board of Trustees and Lance Redmon for Katy ISD Board of Trustees. These two men will greatly improve the skill-set of our board.

BOTH of them have been endorsed by FOUR of the current board members. That, in itself, is a telling point, what do they know that we do not?

Lance Redmon is in, his opponent jumped ship in fear of an embarrassing loss come election day. A trustee who has held Position 2 for 15 years, she quit and then signed up for a three-person race - 9 minutes before the closing time.

Let me emphasize this point. She DROPPED OUT and signed up to create a potential split vote between Dolan, Keller and herself. Betting that she can split the vote enough to regain her seat at the Dias. She PUT HER INTERESTS and EGO before our students, teachers, and community.

WHY YOU SHOULD CARE?

You should care because our school district is the foundation of our economy. Families move here for the schools and business move here for the families. Our current board leadership needs reinforcements to make meaningful, positive changes and they need peers who are interested in governing and not a fancy seat or attention.

Have a question, please ask. Don't assume someone else will pick up the load and your vote doesn't count - every vote counts when you have someone who chooses to play the numbers at our expense, not theirs.

Please bear with my posts about KISD school board. This is a critical election. I strongly encourage anyone in the Katy area reading this to not be blinded by what candidate Sean Dolan is doing. HE DOES NOT WANT TO BETTER OUR DISTRICT. He is manipulating you, he’s bullying our administration, he is instilling fear in our teachers and he is causing a division in our district. And he’s doing it intentionally and for his own egotistic agenda. Don’t believe me???? Watch this.

Dolan Enrages Community with Phony Endorsement List - Covering Katy News

I’m copying and pasting this post from a friend. In case you aren’t aware...

If you have “liked” the A Better Legacy page on Facebook, Sean Dolan has likely added your name to his list of campaign endorsements. His reasoning is that if you “like” this page then you are a supporter of his campaign. He will remove your name if asked, but is unapologetic in doing so. His response and “helpful” social media advice? If you don’t endorse him, you shouldn’t “like” his page, you should just “follow” it. Ummm. Okay. What he is implying is that it’s your fault he used your name without consent, not his. 🤦🏼‍♀️

If you are a constituent of Katy ISD, I urge you to pay attention to this and get to know the candidates. And please, please, vote. Margins on school board elections can be razor thin. It will be the nail in our district’s coffin if he is elected.

My family supports Duke Keller for Katy ISD Board of Trustees. There are reasonable dots to connect Fox to Dolan. It’s time for a new member and a fresh vision.

NOTE: one of the names he included on his “endorsements” list is a cartoon character! 🤣🤣🤣

Are you a Katy resident? Are you tired of bullies like Sean Dolan trying to tear apart our district? Do you want new board members with fresh perspectives and no hidden agendas to step up and take a seat on our BOT?

What happens to our district is up to YOU. Don’t sit on the sidelines and let folks who are motivated to cause separation and feed fake news to the media win.

I know some of you reading this are teachers in our district. You’re afraid that by speaking out against bullies like Sean Dolan that you’ll be attacked. You don’t have to let fear stop you from shutting him down.

Learn about Duke Keller. And if you’re ready for a turnover on the board and shutting down and narcissist who has done nothing but instill fear, then know that if you make a donation of less than $50 to support the election of Duke Keller that your information will remain private and will not be included on financial reports.

You can have a voice without fear of being attacked. My family has donated and will continue to do so. This is perhaps one of the most important board elections in years.

Duke Keller - Katy ISD Board of Trustees

With this background and resume I couldn’t think of a better candidate for the Katy ISD Board of Trustees.

This upcoming election is CRITICAL as we have another candidate running that is hell bent at tearing our district apart, not building it up. That candidate’s name is Sean Dolan. His platform runs on creating a “better legacy” but his actions over the past year show nothing but a sincere bitterness for our district, collusion with the media for biased, one sided stories, a narcissistic personality and bullying strategies to get what he wants which included destroying a good man’s career and horrible threats against his family.

Katy residents: you DO NOT want a man hell bent on tearing the district apart becoming one of our board of directors.

I encourage you to learn about Duke Keller. If you feel he would be a good candidate to throw your support behind then please like and share his page. Help spread the word to Katy residents as the opponent has a marketing company and is bound to now start promoting himself as a saint, which he is not.

There has NEVER been a more important time to support and get out and vote when school board elections come up than 2019.
