It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving that Celeste came over and we made/decorated care packages to send to the soldiers deployed to Iraq...whilst making these I brought up the fact that I'd been wanting to start a charity for less fortunate kids who needed backpacks and school supplies. This then gave me a totally different idea,to start to a NON-PROFITABLE charity to send care packages to the t
roops pretty much year round instead of just for the holidays. Celeste, my mother, and I then went on to think of names..This is where "Triple T's" came to be A.K.A " Troops Treats & Toiletries" and so now I'm running a charity with the help of my parents and family members. I am now asking everyone who can help to send in donations in the form of non-perishable items, toiletries, or money. I am are starting off small with troops but plan on moving on to help not only them but the homeless and the children I had in mind to begin with. Hello all!! I hope everyone is doing well! As we all know, Houston has been hit by Hurricane Harvey, which caused devastation that no one could have ever predicted. In fact, the city is still experiencing the fruits of it's wrath. All that being said, it is never too early, nor is it ever too late.....
I am aware about what's going on around the country. And I want everyone who views this to know that Triple T's understands that black lives do in fact matter. In fact, I believe that change starts with positivity, understanding, and unity. Truly exhibiting that black lives matter is allowing your opposers to voice their opinions freely and peacefully without argument and doing your best to understand and then give yours in the same manner. Violence is NEVER the answer, no matter who it comes from. In the future, I am 100% sure that we will be going around to the local protests and possibly the police stations, to pass out refreshments to the protesters and to the police officers. Such as water, snacks, etc. Just the little things to show our appreciation to both sides. And maybe we'll write little quotes on them about appreciation and unity. We will promote kindness, positivity, and peace, and most important of all, God and having faith in him keeping them safe and guiding them in the right direction. That is where unity begins. And it takes the strong to fight for it positively. The world can not live on through fire, we must fight for what's right with the power of God's light and PEACE. I know I've repeated that a lot but I can not stress it enough. PEACE IS KEY. -Jada ❤️
Wow.. In the past few days I've seen this page get a lot of activity. Now, I know that when you come to this page you're expecting something much more than what you are getting. So let me explain a little bit... I'm a 17 year old who started this at the age of 14 and so on, but I am a 17 year old with a lot of medical problems that come with a lot of medical bills, we got donations, but most of the time we were coming out of pocket to make those bags and to feed the homeless. I am also going to be leaving for college in a few weeks so I left Highschool which was busy, and I'm now going a step up into something even more busy. Helping other has ALWAYS been my passion. Even with all that I have on my plate I still put others before myself, but this. This organization, yes is my baby and I'm proud of what we were able to do, this takes a lot out of me. Walking around just me and my mom when the volunteers who told us they could help don't show up, is not healthy for me, so that's difficult being the type of person who wants to connect with the people we're feeding. I love to talk to the people I'm helping, ask them about ways they think things can be improved when it comes to the homeless and the veterans who have unfortunately ended up on the street due to not receiving the benefits that they rightfully deserve. I would do these walls and then I would get sick and I couldn't walk. I would do these with just me and my mom and we'd be tired, and I'd be upset crying thinking about all the people who say they can and will help all these people who WISH they could be in our shoes, but then the help we promised never shows up. I cry thinking about the fact that I can only do so much. It's literally JUST me with the help of my mom and the few who did donate, but I'm out of donations, we used all the money on all the toiletries and food that we could and passed all of it out, so thanks to those who did help out, know that you genuinely help a lot of people☺️❤️. All of that being said, I will not fail in my mission to if not get rid of reduce the amount of people sleeping under bridges in my hometown and hopefully across the country one day as well. Difference now is I'm gonna be passing the baton. I'm not sure what that entails fully, but I'm gonna allow more qualified people who can organize better and in turn help more, to take over. Triple T's is gonna get a little make over and hopefully really soon we'll be back on track. -Jada❤️
Wow it's been awhile since this page has even been thought of. I'm not going to make any excuses because I honestly don't have any. But stress plays a big part as to why I haven't done anything towards this charity in awhile. I'm only 16 and I'm sorta running this thing on my own with the help of donations. Which by the way if you sent in donations I promise the did go towards this charity. It's a new year though and it's time for change I'm ready to start making a difference. This year will be a great year for triple t's and I'll hold myself to that!!! Happy new year I hope you're all safe and sound. Please have faith in me. Started with a car full and ended with the car empty. This was one of the best days of my life. You don't realize just how blessed you are until you're looking into the eyes of someone who isn't. * A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER *:Ah. Frustration is present. It is very frustrating to be at a stand still at this point. And it's frustrating to be moving so slow. But I must remember everything takes time and everything deserves some patience. I've only been on summer break for a few weeks and believe me I've been working hard I must remember I'm only young and I can't do this on my own no matter how hard I try. I appreciate anyone who is still helping me I'm sure a lot of you have forgotten about this page and my goals for the charity but that's okay. This may have been a random idea but its one I acted on because I want to make a difference somehow. So believe me when I say things will be up and working again. I'm not as sick anymore so I can get out and do a lot more with this charity. Care packages made by hand, filled with love, and stamped with the triple t's approval will soon be on the move. Hello everyone, first I would like to thank you all for liking this page. I"m pretty much doing this all by myself so please bare with me! There has been some progress with donations but not much. Triple T's will be handing out care packages to the homeless soon(as in two months soon) and in December we will start sending packages out to the troops!:) I really do appreciate all the help I've gotten and all the support I'm given. I grew up with not a lot but my parents would never let me know that. I'd always get what I wanted for Christmas, birthdays, or just any day period. But now that I'm older I realize just how much they struggled and it gave me another reason to want to help others. Because I understand that parents struggle to make sure their children get the best of whatever they can and I'd like to be one of the many helping them do so. You can be apart of this too. Helping out at a food kitchen, Going to the Houston Food Bank and helping them package boxes, or simple finding a family in need and giving them something you're used to having but they'd be grateful to see.
Redemption isn't being able to bounce back on your feet after being pushed down. Its bouncing back, better than you were before, and using your story to inspire others. Do something good for the world. You never know who's watching.

John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair.. The girl is coming along with her healing.
He is a real Star of the war, and the hero of peace.
This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Please keep this going. Every person can make a difference in the life of someone even if it is one little girl.

Sometimes we feel alone. We feel like there's no one there who cares enough to notice when we need some acknowledgement. No matter if it's a stranger or a sibling, pay it forward by offering them something as simple as a smile or a wave. It doesn't matter where,when,or how just do it. You never know, you could making/fixing someone's entire day with your small gesture. Then turn those small gestures into bigger ones. Don't expect anything in return other than the happiness you're given from the recipient.
Though times are hard and we're all going through different things in life we must remember that there truthfully is someone going through something much worse or someone whose problems aren't easily fixed. No matter how or where you do it give back. Not only to the people in need, but to your whole community and environment, wherever YOU see it fit to lend a hand after all that is how Triple T's came to be!!!:)
