It’s been 30 years since this photo appeared in the Katy High School yearbook. Now I am running for office to make sure our public schools return to being as strong as they were then, and stay that way for generations to come.

My opponent is from New Jersey and voted for school vouchers against our wishes that pull money from public education to fund elite for-profit schemes, because he has no ties to our community and only cares about is billionaire donors.

The choice is clear this November. Elect local leaders.

With 78 days to go until the election, on a random Monday in August, almost 50 people showed up to a call for action sent out by Paul van Helmond to stuff voter registration cards into bags to be hung on apartment doors in District 132. 10,000 voter registration packets are now on their way to be hung on 10,000 doors in HD132.
