The MGE PTA works to support Griffin Elementary School in its quest to foster an outstanding environment for all students and staff. We are fortunate to have parent and grandparent volunteers who take part in activities such as our annual fundraiser-fair, Grizzfest; assist with lunchroom monitoring, promote a love of reading in our school Library and Literacy Library; handle workbasket and other
classroom tasks for teachers; host celebratory events; lead Destination Imagination teams; and much, much more. PTA moms and dads installed the beautiful playground, raise funds for school projects, and assist teachers with special requests. Griffin PTA members also include many staff members for whom teaching Grizzlies is more than just a job -- but also a passion and a calling. Griffin, the school’s treasured namesake, and his wife Ada, regularly volunteer their time at school as well. With supportive leaders, administrators and teachers as their trail guides, the Griffin Grizzlies are sure to make tracks to excellence.
