TL;DR: Can the Libertarian Party become a Libertarian Federalist Party, and with some States going and others going , and the Federal government staying out of it? Can Vermont become the analog to the Free State Project which is Next door in New Hampshire? Inquiring minds want to know!

Question for and Libertarians. Only those who vote, or are willing to, need reply:
If you're a , would you be willing to tolerate other states moving in the direction if it meant that yours would move in a direction?
If you're a , would you be willing to tolerate other states moving in the direction if it meant that yours would move in a direction?
Now, for both groups, imagine that it became clear that your state was going to move away from you politically, but that you would gain the ability to move to another state which was closer to your ideal?
I'm talking about Federalism here. And I'm talking about Political Migration.
First off, I think it would be a winning strategy on the Federal Level. Even people who were more Progressive/Conservative might be willing to have states where they did not live be less to their liking if the state where they lived could be more to their liking.
Secondly, I have always wanted to see a version of the Free State Project in Vermont. They're pretty libertarian there, in some ways, but they do have kind of a lefty tinge in other ways. And there are only 600,000 people living there. If 20k types moved to Vermont, as 20k types are moving to New Hampshire, we might be able to reinforce each other and work together ... maybe even secede together, without either of us having to compromise our principles ... so long as we respected the overriding principle of our philosophy:
We should each be free to do live our own way, and that we should each respect the fact that not everybody wants to live as we do, and they should be able to live in their own way.
Can we apply that to States, as well as to Individuals? I think we could be a winning combination if we did. :)
