This was certainly one of the more emotional see-ya-laters for me. I still remember when Don Waltman’s Market House opened up just a block down from my office. From the moment I walked in, that first time, it’s been like I’ve known that staff my whole life. I have so many fond memories of the time I got to spend there and hope to find another local market and lunch spot that’s only half as good. For those wondering, my go-to menu item, and also what I find to be the best, the Salami Roasted Red Pepper Panini. Order that, and I promise you won’t regret it. But seriously, everything has always been delicious. Thanks to Stefanie, Owen, Ms. Cathy, Charlie, Jadea, and all the other incredible staff members that treated me so well. You’ll never know how much you all have meant to me. You’ve got a friend here forever.

I remember four years ago, arriving in Pennsylvania and saying that I will never have an assignment greater than my assignment at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Melissa and I had just packed our house and hit the road in the middle of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic where hardly anyone was coming out of their bubbles, social distancing was the norm, and we were starting anew in a brand new location as complete strangers to virtually everyone here. Fast forward four years to the day, Melissa just hit the road where I will rendezvous with her on Tuesday. Another chapter has closed in our Air Force Adventure.

For four years I told every applicant and anyone who was considering a future on our team that a career in the United States Air Force is truly an adventure. It seems only fitting as I leave Williamsport that my former username has to change as well and what better username than .

Thank you to every single person I’ve met and befriended over the last four years. You and the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have made this the greatest assignment of my Air Force career. I hope we can stay in touch.

I just pulled into the clubhouse for the final time, I’m filled with a mix of emotions. Dana was one of the first to introduce me to Pennsylvania’s golf courses, and was here to help me wrap up my golf career in the Keystone State. It’s a fitting ending to a chapter that began with him. We managed to dodge the rain and even enjoyed a few hours of sunshine - a perfect sendoff.

If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend a round at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College. The course was in fantastic condition given how much rain we’ve had. A special shoutout to my longtime friend Luis, who made the trip to join me for one last Pennsylvania golf outing. It was an incredible way to close out this chapter of my golfing career.
