The American Adventure pavilion at Epcot now has solar-powered Bigbelly compactors with actual theming applied. They're wearing the '76 shield design, consistent with the standard cans used there since 2017.

The earlier Germany test unit came and went without any theming at all, so this is a notable step forward. Foot pedal operation only, handle removed, inlet door dark blue with a simple TRASH label.

Whether themed compactors would ever show up in the parks was an open question. The American Adventure just answered it.

The 2017 Epcot Food & Wine Festival salt shaker covers all 11 World Showcase countries in passport stamp form -- Norway still uses Maelstrom-era ship imagery, and Morocco oddly stamped "Departure Airport" while every other country reads as an arrival. The "09.25.2017" date on the back marks the Epcot 35th anniversary merchandise release.

Life got busy, but new trash cans at The Walt Disney Studios area of Disney's Hollywood Studios have a way of clearing the schedule.

The graphic references the real Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank. It's reasonable approximation, though the original carries a slightly heavier font weight and tighter corner radius on the label border.

The bigger difference is color: Burbank gets gold, salmon, and cream. Florida got white. Hard not to read that as a cost-saving move given WDW's existing white can inventory.

Second issue: these cans will spend their entire existence side by side, but the label graphics sit at noticeably different heights across the pair. No alignment. No sense they were designed as a set.

Could have been an easy win, but alas.
