Battle-Palooza: A Teen Rock Concert Battle-Palooza Battle-Palooza is held by Jam Session and Fairlawn School of Music and sponsored by Kent Parks and Recreation.

It will be benefiting Stable Ground, a local non-profit organization in Kent that promotes a positive outlook for families in crisis. There will be two age groups: teen and youth. The youth group must have 50% of its members under the 9th grade level. The teen group ranges from musicians 9th-12th grade. Bands will be battling for cash and prizes. The competition will be judged by local area musici

ans and those in the music industry, including Freddy Demarco. Bands may register at Jam Session Music School, located at 154 North Water Street in Kent There is a $20 registration fee-- please call 330-673-3737 for details. Tickets for the general public are $5. Come see the bands, stay for the food, play for some prizes, and help promote, support and strengthen a great cause!
