The United Way of Hardin County, The West Ohio Foodbank, and The Ohio National Guard will be hosting another large community food distribution on June 11th at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The Goal is to assist 1,000 with the hopes of being the biggest distribution to date.
This non-contact food distribution will be from 10a – 2pm, or until food runs out.
Valid ID showing Hardin County residency and at least 18 years of age.
Trunk of vehicle must be cleaned out and all occupants must remain in vehicle.
Limit of 2 families per vehicle served.
Be at or below 230% the federal poverty guidelines or those who need assistance due to furlough. No one will be turned away.
Those attending may only enter at the east gate parking lot entrance and follow the direction of traffic control. No admittance will be permitted prior to 9am.
There will be no public restrooms and all participants must always remain in their vehicle while on the fairgrounds.
Vehicles will not be permitted to block traffic on fairground road, State Route 68, or State Route 31.

Another Food Distribution Scheduled for June 11
Another West Ohio Food Bank and United Way of Hardin County food distribution has been scheduled for June. The event will again be held at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Kenton on June 11 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This will make the fourth food distribution event held in Hardin County in the

The United Way of Hardin County, The West Ohio Foodbank, and The Ohio National Guard will be hosting another community food distribution on May 18th at the Hardin County Fairground.
This non-contact food distribution will be Monday May 18th from 2pm – 4pm, or until food runs out.

The United Way of Hardin County, The West Ohio Foodbank, and The Ohio National Guard will be hosting another community food distribution on May 7th at the Hardin County Fairground.
This non-contact food distribution will be Thursday May 7th from 1pm – 3pm, or until food runs out. This will be the largest food distribution for Hardin County with the goal to feed 1000 families. Two hundred thousand (200,000) pounds of food will be distributed during this event eclipsing the previous ninety thousand (90,000) pounds of food serving 700 families.
A valid ID showing proof of being a Hardin County resident will be required. The trunk must be cleaned out and all occupants must remain in vehicle. There will be a limit of 2 families per vehicle served. Must be 18 years or older and be at or below 230% the federal poverty guidelines. Details of poverty guidelines can be found at www.wofb.org on the COVID-19 page.
Those attending must enter at the east gate parking lot entrance and follow the direction of traffic control. No admittance will be permitted prior to 11am. There will be plenty of room for traffic flow and parking. Vehicles will not be permitted to block traffic on fairground road, State Route 68, or State Route 31.
Approximately 40 members of the Ohio National Guard G-Co 237 SPT BN will again assist with boxing the food and placing in the trunk of vehicles.
The Hardin County Sheriff, Hardin County Mounted Posse, and the Kenton Police Department will assist with traffic control when entering, while on, and exiting the fairgrounds.

A great group of non-profit organizations has come together to form Hardin County Cares, including Love Inc. of Hardin County, United Way of Hardin County, American Red Cross of Hardin County, Ohio Department Job and Family Services of Hardin County, and the Hardin County Ministerial Association, with representatives from several area churches.
Hardin County Cares has implemented a call center to connect people with resources they need (Non-medical emergencies). Food, personal needs, medicine, etc. The phone number is 419-675-9045. The hours the call center will be Monday- Friday 10:00am- 4:00pm.
United Way of Hardin County is excited to Partner with West Ohio Food Bank and hold a COUNTY WIDE mass Food Distribution, with the assistance of the US National Guard in aiding in the COVID-19 Pandemic
