In a historic 6-3 decision, the Conservative justices on the Supreme Court ruled that a president is immune from any prosecution so long as it is considered “an official act”.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in her descent, “in every use of official power, the president is now a king above the law“. An act that no doubt the founding fathers would never have intended for a president to do.

When we vote in November, we are not just voting for the president. We are voting for an administration and the potential for openings on a vastly conservative Supreme Court. Democracy is truly on the ballot.
