YOU DID IT! Thank you to the many people who contributed to our campaign in response to our recent request. You helped us hit our goal in short order, and we're deeply grateful. Now it's on to the next goal!

This campaign is about more than electing someone. It's about building a movement to unite rural Iowa. We all want thriving communities, excellent schools, health care that's minutes, not hours, away, safe and secure elder care, and clean water.

It’s inevitable: Spring will be here, bringing with it warmer weather. The crocuses will croak, the peepers will peep and the robins will … rob.

Also inevitable: Campaigns for the Iowa House of Representatives will hit high gear. The folks now pinned down at the Capitol will tap their donors and start their advertising machines.

Kind of like farmers getting into the field: They’ll both be spreading something.

We have a chance to get ahead before lawmakers flee Des Moines. We’re just $1,700 short of our February fundraising goal – an easy deficit to erase with your help. A deep treasury gives us a head start to reach voters with our message: a stronger rural Iowa that supports communities, schools, seniors, businesses and farmers.
