Chief Wig Preece Memorial Fire School The Kermit Volunteer Fire Department has started a fire school to offer quality training for our fellow firefighters quality training.

WV Public Service Training/Charleston will be conducting an Emergency Vehicle Operations course (EVOC) on February 2 - 3, 2019, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at Kermit VFD. This 16-hour course is designed to enhance the ability for first responders to identify the importance of proper training for emergency vehicle operations.

Tuition: $35.00
Prerequisites: Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

Core Rescue Class will start at 9am this Saturday at the Kermit Fire Department. Located off us 52 in Kermit, WV. This class is a state prerequisite for all other rescue classes.

Starting March 31st your Kermit Vfd will be offering the following classes.
Core Rescue
Vehicle & Machinery Operations
Swift Water Operations
Class fees will be $60.00
If registered by February 15th you will receive a free fire school t-shirt.
