The Ketchikan Tlingit & Haida Community Council is proud to support Shania R. Murphy as Ketchikan’s candidate for Emerging Leader at the 91st Annual Tribal Assembly!

Our Way of Life teaches us that we are strongest when we hold each other up. For generations, our Elders have taught us to care for one another through respect, compassion, patience, courage, and love. Those teachings continue to guide us today and are at the heart of Tlingit & Haida's commitment to su***de prevention, healing, and hope. Su***de prevention is not the responsibility of one program, it is a shared commitment

If you or someone you know is struggling with or experiencing emotional distress, there are many ways to get help. You can call or text 988 to contact the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline or call the SEARHC HELPINE at 1-877-294-0074. Both are available 24/7 to listen and help.

Together, we can strengthen our communities. Where asking for help is met with compassion, where checking in on one another becomes second nature, and where every person knows they are never alone.
