as a waiver of these guidelines, shall not affect the validity of these guidelines, and shall not affect the
City’s ability to delete such content in the future.

Annual Youth Fishing Derby -- This Saturday at Delco Park

The Annual Youth Fishing Derby is this Saturday, June 13 at Delco Park, and it is completely free! Open to youth ages 5-16, this beloved community event is a great summer outing for the whole family. Bring your own bait and pole if possible — waxworms and loaner poles will be available in limited supply. Trophies will be awarded and lunch is provided for participants and their parents.
Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. and the derby starts at 10 a.m. A parent or guardian signature is required at registration. The event is held rain or shine.

During this time, traffic will be rerouted to Woodman Drive. Please plan your route accordingly and allow extra time if you are traveling in that area. Do You Have a Good Neighbor? We Want to Know!

Kettering is full of people who go the extra mile to help their neighbors and make their community welcoming for all. The GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD celebrates these individuals who go above and beyond, doing good deeds and being especially kind or neighborly. Nominate YOUR Good Neighbor!

Nominations are accepted June 1 through July 31. Nominees must be Kettering residents, either Adult or Youth (age 18 and younger). Nominees will receive certificates of appreciation from the Mayor, and one GREAT Good Neighbor will get a $50 gift card to a Kettering business!

This award celebrating neighborly interactions is sponsored by the Kettering Board of Community Relations, which promotes a welcoming, inclusive community by fostering equal opportunities and respect for all persons.
