🚰 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Lead & Copper Water Testing 🚰

The Town of Kewanna Water Department is looking for 10 volunteer households to participate in our required Lead & Copper Sampling Program.

The State requires the Town to complete two rounds of Lead & Copper sampling this year, and we need 10 additional volunteer homes to help us meet this requirement.

If you are selected, the process is simple:
• Complete a brief questionnaire.
• Collect a water sample using the bottle and instructions we provide.
• The Town will arrange to pick up your sample the following morning.

There is no cost to participate, and your involvement helps us continue providing safe, high-quality drinking water while meeting state drinking water requirements.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact the Town of Kewanna Water Department or send us a message on Facebook.

Thank you for helping protect the quality of Kewanna's drinking water and for supporting our community!

Town of Kewanna Water Customers – Final Request
The Town of Kewanna has received grant funding to identify and replace lead and qualifying galvanized water service lines.
If you received a Right of Entry form, please complete and return it as soon as possible.
This is the third and final request for residents who have not yet responded. We have already contacted affected property owners twice. Identification work is scheduled to begin July 20, and crews will be in town to begin inspecting service lines.
Why is this important?
Returning the form does not mean your service line is lead.
It simply gives us permission to inspect your service line.
If lead or a qualifying galvanized service line is found, it may be replaced at no cost to you through this grant-funded program.
We currently have approximately 137 service lines that still need to be identified, but only a portion of the required Right of Entry forms have been returned. Without your permission, we cannot inspect your service line or determine if you qualify for a free replacement.
Please don't miss this opportunity. Returning your form only takes a few minutes and could save you the cost of replacing a qualifying service line in the future.
If you have questions or need another copy of the Right of Entry form, please contact the Town of Kewanna Water Department as soon as possible.
Thank you for helping us protect the safety and quality of Kewanna's drinking water.
