Monroe County Supervisor of Elections Sherri Hodies and her team wrapped up this election season's school tour last Friday at The Basilica School of Saint Mary Star of the Sea, in Key West.

Of the 21 students who attended, 15 were already registered or pre-registered to vote. The remaining 6 completed their pre-registration during the presentation.

We continue reaching out to younger voters through out Monroe County — this morning we visited Somerset Island Preparatory School in Key West.

About 40 students heard our voter registration presentation, and nearly half registered to vote during our presentation. The other 50% were already registered.

Congrats to our new young voters, and for everyone else, please make sure you register to vote.
