Sadly we found our Little Library today vandalized for the 3rd time in a week. All of the books again thrown into a near by trash can. We aren’t going to give up. Please help us keep a watchful eye on the library and if you see anything please contact the police. We also need some new donations of books as many of the books thrown into the garbage were ruined from being mixed in with garbage. ❤️

Today someone threw all the books in the Bahama Village Little Library at 101 Geraldine St into the garbage. Thankfully I recovered them and put them back in the Little Library.

First our little unofficial Isaiah Pocket Park hosted the Key West Little Pantry, then the Bahama Village Little Library and now The Little Tree Nursery - Save A Tree / Key West dropped off some Key Lime saplings this morning and over half of them have already been adopted. ❤️

The Bahama Village Little Library has overflowed into our original Little Pantry (happily so). The Little Library sits right next to our Key West Little Pantry at 101 Geraldine St in Isaiah Pocket Park. Please while you are stopping by to donate non-perishable food, pickup a free book while you are there. ❤️

Met this neighbor as he was dropping off some food for The Little Pantry — and he said he also checks the Little Library for something new to read when he stops by. I just thought that was fantastic. He leaves food and takes a book, which he returns after he reads it. ❤️

After you read the books your purchase from Books & Books at 533 Eaton St, we would greatly appreciate it if you would donate those used books to The Bahama Village Little Library — a free library located at 101 Geraldine St and accessible 24x7. ❤️

Key West Library Youth had fun out and about with their puppet Gidget today! They refilled a bunch of the Little Free Libraries around the island (including our Bahama Village Little Library shown in this photograph) — and put some fun bookmarks in there too! We hope that you guys can go get some books and bookmarks!

September is library card sign up month so even through the library isn’t open you can still get a card! Give us a call and we will give you all the info!

The Bahama Village Little Library is located next to the Bahama Village Little Pantry at 101 Geraldine Street.

Painting by Sean Callahan | Lizzie Maude” - Watercolor on paper. I was asked to paint Lizzie for her owner by his wife. He was a literary Professor so I suggested we put the bookshelves in the painting and his favorite book (I don’t remember what book that was.)
