Before the craziness of the day begins, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has reached out with words of support and encouragement, put up signs, offered to hold signs, driven around with magnets on their cars for months, and made a point to tell me they were voting for us—or already had.
Hearing my daughter come home from school excited to tell me that her friend’s parents voted for us, or being stopped by someone who proudly tells me they voted early and that we had their vote—it’s all been incredibly surreal and humbling.
And I say “us” because not for one second of this campaign have I walked alone. From the very beginning, my family, friends, coworkers, colleagues, and members of the court system have been there—offering their time, their support, and countless words of encouragement.
I especially want to thank my family—my parents, my wife, my girls, and my in-laws. You have sacrificed your time, rearranged schedules, stood beside me, and supported me every step of the way. No matter the outcome, I am unbelievably grateful for everything you have done and for the way you have believed in me throughout this journey.
To everyone who has supported us in ways big and small: thank you. We will never forget it.
And if you haven’t voted yet… today’s the day! 🗳️
