On 12/07/2022 the Monmouth County Police Academy graduated the 103rd Basic Police Officer Class and the 54th Basic SLEO II Class.

Congratulations to Keyport Police Department SLEO II Michael Richards. During his time at the academy a fellow recruit had his airway obstructed. SLEO II Richards swift reaction saved his fellow recruits life. He was recognized during the graduation for his outstanding act.

We are excited to start him in Keyport Police Department as a SLEO II and proud of the action taken by our Officer!

Thank you Mayor for your collaboration over the years with our Veteran & military community. It is a beautiful collection & honor to have participated in many as Councilwoman! I truly am & will always be humbled by the tremendous service our volunteer military does everyday as well as the many men who were drafted & served during Vietnam War.

Remember to vote today or turn in your mail in ballots at one of the your local County drop boxes such as 7 W Front Street or Freehold Board of Elections! I always represent Keyport with honor, integrity, honesty & transparency taking action & accountability. Where did I learn this? Law abiding responsible leaders & role models beginning with my family. Thank you to my family & friends for all your support during my election year, especially my husband! The Keyport Republican Party authorized by the three women running for office stated false propaganda about me & attacked my husband for volunteering on Keyport Planning Board. Attacking family for volunteering IS NOT 🇺🇸. FACT: When appointed, it was approved with no conflict of interest by Borough Legal Counsel in 2020 (pull up the minutes from 1/1/2020). I support ALL of Keyport as shown in my social media. I look forward to continuing to represent you in Keyport.

On behalf of Borough of Keyport’s Environmental Commission members, THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, DPW, & Borough Adminstrator for the hard work to make today happen! KEC shared this idea to reinforce & expand the dune grass footprint early in 2022 when I became liaison as I asked what are your key goals/programs this year. We did it with governing body approval! It is an honor to be liaison to unsung environmental champions implementing programs to protect & maintain our shoreline beautiful parks & beaches. What did we accomplish today? Dune grass in front ramp/stairs in Benjamin Terry/Veterans Park área & weeding/cleaning up evasive plantings areas along Cedar Street plus planting of dune grass where dunes are missing. These will help prevent sand erosion into our parks. New fencing & signage is coming soon too by DPW to protect these areas.
