This is event is free to the public thanks to our sponsors, including the HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Hospitals, members of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).

This year's event is being held in memory of Sandra Thompson-Hopgood, co-founder of Midtown Make a Difference Day and long-time community activist.

Bilingual Youth Summer Coordinator-
Kingston Cares is hiring! Temporary position. July 6th-August 7th, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Perfect for a college student home for the summer! Coordinator is responsible for working with a team to supervise youth participating in summer youth development program, implementing age appropriate educational and recreational activities and facilitating communication between program leadership and youth and parents whose primary language is Spanish. Donation Request: We are in need of additional beads (to make jewelry during arts and crafts time) and folding chairs (metal, wooden or plastic). We serve 50 children a day and do not have enough chairs for all of them to eat together at once. Please call Megan Weiss-Rowe at 331-1110 if you would like to donate one of these needed items to our drop in summer program. Thank you!

Summer packets are now available for youth wishing to participate in the drop in summer program at the Everette Hodge Community Center. This program is available to local children in need of positive activities to do this summer. This is a drop in program that runs from July 7th-August 8th, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. The summer packet must be completed before children can participate in the program. All information is available on-site at the Hodge Center. For more information, please contact Megan Weiss-Rowe at 331-1110.
