Why Apartments?
Shared shelters serve a purpose — but they can also strip away the privacy a mother needs to grieve, to pray, to plan, and to parent. Rhema House takes a different path.

Each resident will have her own apartment: a locked front door, a kitchen, and bedrooms her children do not have to share with strangers. Around her, a community — case managers, counselors, mentors, and neighbors — who are close enough to help but never invade.

The building itself is our first sermon: you and your children are worth a home.

Rhema House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering single mothers by providing safe, stable housing and the support they need to build a thriving future for themselves and their children.

Our goal- A two-year residential community offers apartment-style living within a secure, gated environment where mothers can focus on healing, growth, and long-term success. Residents have access to free childcare, on-site counseling, life skills education, financial literacy and budgeting classes, mentorship, beautiful parks and gardens, and a supportive community committed to helping families flourish.

At Rhema House, we believe every mother deserves more than a place to live—she deserves the opportunity to heal, discover her purpose, and create a lasting legacy for her family. Through compassion, accountability, and practical support, we help women move from surviving to thriving.

Our vision: To break cycles of poverty and instability by equipping single mothers with the tools, confidence, and community they need to build independent, hope-filled futures.

We have a single hard working Mother that is trying to provide for her children but unfortunately has fallen on a difficult time.
