Thanks to the residents who have come out to the Stormwater Engineering open house meetings to learn about the comprehensive stormwater analysis conducted and discuss their experiences of flooding with our engineering staff. Two more meetings will be held next week: Aug. 17 at Christenberry Community Center and Aug. 20 at Deane Hill Rec Center. To improve native habitat and manage invasive vegetation in City parks and greenways, our Urban Forestry Department is tackling some of this important work starting this week. Watch for contractors in the areas listed below, and give them some space -- some trail segments may need to be closed temporarily as work is completed (weather permitting) within the month of August.
