October is ADHD Awareness Month! 🧠

ADHD can affect people of all ages and can look different from person to person. This month is an opportunity to learn, challenge misconceptions, and better understand the experiences of people living with ADHD. 💙
Awareness starts with accurate information, and a little understanding can go a long way!

✅ Dems support full federal funding for The Disabilities Education Act & 8M+ kids receive IDEA services
✅ Recent Dem-backed federal investments supported 14K additional school counselors + social workers
✅ The American Rescue Plan (Biden admin) provided ~$130B for K–12 schools, with funds usable for SPED teachers, counselors & student supports
✅ Students with ADHD may qualify for IEPs under IDEA and/or accommodations under Section 504
