As Election Day approaches, I want to personally thank everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed for me throughout this campaign.

I was raised in Konawa, and Seminole County has been my home for 43 years. This community has given so much to me and my family, and I am asking for the opportunity to give back through service as your next County Commissioner.

Over the last several months, I’ve visited with residents across District 1 and listened to your concerns. Time and again, people tell me they want roads that last, responsible spending, honest leadership, and someone who will answer the phone when they call.

I understand those concerns because I’ve spent much of my career working on the very issues that affect our county every day.

For nearly 10 years, I worked for Seminole County maintaining roads and hauling rock. I understand road materials, drainage, culverts, bridges, equipment maintenance, and the importance of preventative maintenance. I know the difference between a temporary fix and a long-term solution.

I also bring more than 20 years of mechanical experience, oilfield trucking experience, and experience teaching CDL and heavy equipment operations. Throughout my career, I’ve believed in hard work, responsibility, and doing the job right the first time.

But being County Commissioner is about more than roads.

I understand the importance of supporting our emergency services and fire departments, working closely with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, partnering with the Seminole Nation, and cooperating with neighboring districts and local communities. Strong relationships help secure resources, solve problems, and better serve the people of Seminole County.

I also understand county government extends beyond road maintenance. It requires responsible budgeting, oversight of taxpayer dollars, working with state and tribal partners, and making decisions that benefit our county not just today, but for future generations.

If elected, I will focus on:

✔ Strong, long-lasting roads and infrastructure

✔ Better drainage and preventative maintenance

✔ Responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars

✔ Supporting our fire departments and emergency services

✔ Working cooperatively with the Sheriff’s Office, Seminole Nation, neighboring districts, and local communities

✔ Transparency, accountability, and open communication

✔ Being available and accessible to the people I serve

I am not a career politician. I am a working local who understands this job because I’ve lived it. I know our roads, our equipment, our communities, and the people who call Seminole County home.

Some people talk about roads. I’ve lived them, worked them, and maintained them.

My promise is simple: I will work hard, listen carefully, spend taxpayer dollars wisely, and always put the people of District 1 first.

I would be honored to earn your vote for Seminole County Commissioner, District 1.

Voting days are coming soon. Everyone, go vote so we can get this county back to having great infrastructure and roads that you can drive on without damaging your vehicle. Proper drainage, clean culverts, and ditches that allow water to run through them, not across the road, are a few of the things on a long list of problems that need to be fixed. Thank you, everyone, for all your support. By listening to the concerns and ideas of Seminole County's people and me, as your commissioner, we can make the changes needed to fix these problems. 11/12/13/16, go vote.
