FORT FISHER UPDATES:
We are making exciting changes to our operations this winter!
- The equipment rental is now co-located in the reception center for your convenience.
- We are about one month out from implementing our new online reservation system. Until our online reservation system is in place, please continue to call 1-910-500-6465 to make reservations.
FFRA reservation priorty:
- 6 months in advance – Active Duty & SJAFB employees
- 4 months in advance – Reservists, National Guard, Retired Military & DoD Civilians
- 1 month in advance – all other authorized users
- Old Hickory & Hercules Halls reservations can be made 30 days in advance
Wi-Fi – as many of you know we have had little success with our Wi-Fi in the cottages and RV park. We are working with our Base Contracting office to rectify this issue with the contractor.
We appreciate your patience while we make these improvements; check back for more updates.

What a great place to relax and social distance at the beach! Stay in the cottages or park your RV/trailer, but if they are booked don’t forget to ask about the basic barracks ($40/night). Fort Fisher benefits are available to Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, Coast Guard, Retired Military, DoD Civilians and 100% Disabled Veterans with valid DoD ID cards. Additionally, veterans with a valid VHIC card that displays Purple Heart, Former POW or Service Connected are authorized users.
