Dive Unit K9s Chili, Chulu, and Chevy (handler Jean Musgjerd) and K9 Casey (handler Jen Sauer) got out on the water for some training on this beautiful day. Thank you Mark Smith for taking time out of his day to be our boat driver!

What a great night at the National Night Out events! We had two units out. One in Onalaska with the City of Onalaska Police Department and one at Mormon Coulee Park with the La Crosse County Sheriff's Office. We were passing on information, had some throw bag competitions, hula hoops going, ring toss, and interaction with the Dive Unit K9s. Thanks to Jean Musgjerd, Tiera Gonzalez, Colleen Anderson, Byron Olmstead, Jen Sauer, D. Marshall Quackenboss, John Burelbach, Jordan Shack, and Steve Link for staffing the exhibits. Hope to see you next year!

When you come to National Night Out 2026 be sure to stop and visit with our friends from the La Crosse Dive Unit. They plan to display a truck, boat and equipment. Divers and support personnel will be on site to help you learn what it takes to become a Dive Unit Member.
