Who's joining us for the Lord of the Rings Extended Edition Marathon on Friday??

If you can't tell we're pretty passionate about movies around here at The Rivoli and our resident LOTR super fan decided to make some artwork to commemorate the achievement of completing the entire 12 hour marathon! This was lovingly hand drawn with colored pencil and we'll be giving out prints to the first 25 people through the door who pre-purchase their tickets to the full marathon! 🎟

Doors open at 12pm and Fellowship stars at 12:30! There will be a 10 minute intermission in between films to stretch and get some delicious Middle Earth inspired food and drinks from concessions.

Statement by Chris Kahlow: I have spoken to Shaundel and congratulated him on becoming the next Mayor of La Crosse. All of us who care so deeply about this wonderful City wish him the best in his new role.

I am so proud of the campaign we ran. I am so grateful to all of my supporters. Thank you for all your hard work and energy. It kept me going each and every day.

The election results do not alter my commitment to public service. I have served on the City Council since 2019. I will continue to serve on the Council. I fell in love with La Crosse when I went to College here: the natural beauty, the vibrant neighborhoods, and most of all the people.

This is home to me. My dedication to serving the people of La Crosse will never waver. I look forward to continuing to serve and to working, together, to move our City forward.

Thank you again for your support and thank you to each and every one of you, for your dedication to a better, brighter future for the City we all care so deeply about.

Our positive, issue-focused campaign has always been about La Crosse and what the people who live and work here care about most. I am honored to have earned the support of local, La Crosse based community leaders, families, parents, business people, and elected leaders. Every vote will count tomorrow...I am honored to earn your support!

A grey, rainy day in La Crosse did not stop our volunteers -- including some of our wonderful younger volunteers -- from going door-to-door to get out the vote and help elect Chris Kahlow as our next mayor! Thanks to everyone for their help and support!
