In scouting we have many symbols and traditions that have been used by scouts over the years. One symbol that is used on hiking trails is a circle with a dot in the middle, this is to show that a scout has completed their treak and has returned home. This symbol is also used to signify that a scout or scouter has completed their ultimate treak of life and returned home to be with God the Father. With a sad hart I would like to let everyone know that Scouting has lost a great man Deacon Dan Besse Assistant Scoutmaster Troop 61
