Please be advised that the new traffic light at the intersection of Hughes Road and Scenic Highway is now fully functional.

Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution as everyone adjusts to the new traffic pattern. Pay close attention to the signal, obey all traffic control devices, and remain alert for other motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists traveling through the intersection.

We are proud to partner with the Town of Dundee and the Town of Lake Hamilton to support the Dundee & Lake Hamilton Food Pantries and help provide food to local families in need.

Registration forms can be returned to the Town of Dundee or Town of Lake Hamilton, or emailed as listed on the flyer.

The boil water notice was rescinded as of Friday, July 24, 2026.

Update: Water was restored, the 48 hour boil notice is being continued until 2 water samples come back.

The Town will keep all residents updated & Notified.

There is a Water Main Break and staff is currently on scene conducting repairs. The estimated time of restoration is approximately 2 hours. The water outage and precautionary boil water notice is only affecting the following areas: Lake Gordon Heights, Mayre-Jane Heights, Nadia Heights, Hatchineha Road, and Lake Crystal Dr.

The Town of Lake Hamilton would like to remind all residents that Town employees do not solicit or sell products or services door-to-door.

All Town employees conducting official Town business will be wearing or carrying proper Town-issued identification, including an employee badge displaying their name, position, and the Town of Lake Hamilton logo.

If someone comes to your door claiming to be a Town employee and is attempting to sell or solicit products, services, or donations, please use caution. Do not provide personal or financial information, and ask to see their official Town identification.

If you are ever unsure whether someone is a legitimate Town employee, please contact Town Hall to verify their identity before engaging with them.

Closure Notice
The Lake Hamilton Utility department is performing a water main replacement project along Hatchineha Road.
On Wednesday, July 15th a single lane closure will occur on Hamilton Blvd. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. The road will reopen at the end of the day.
See map for road closure area and Detour information.
Road closures are expected to last the duration of the project up to 4 weeks.
