Lake View Police Dept. The Lake View Police Department provides law enforcement services to the communities of Lake View and Wall Lake, Iowa.

The Lake View Police Department remains committed to community relationship-building and problem-solving. This mission is complex and challenging in today’s world, particularly when applied to the wide array of challenging situations confronting police officers. To accomplish this mission, employees of the police department must commit to a standard of community service that embodies the tenets of

our Code of Ethics and embraces our professional commitment to our community, our citizens, and our colleagues. The Lake View Police Department is comprised of four full-time officers, one part-time officer, and one reserve K-9 officer. It is the mission of the Lake View Police Department to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety while working with diverse communities to improve their quality of life. Our mandate is to do so with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public confidence.
