Florida has more data centers coming. Nobody is testing the water first.

The first plank of the Contract with Florida asks every statewide candidate to commit to independent third-party studies on environmental impact, water use, and potential contamination before any data center permit is approved.

It also commits them to defend Florida's right under the Tenth Amendment to protect its own land, water, and ecosystem, instead of letting federal mandates override state conservation standards.

This is not a press release. It is language candidates are being asked to sign their names to.

Show your support as a voter below and keep track of which candidates sign the Contract in real time:

Our votes are worth more than any donor check.

A coalition of grassroots organizations across Florida wrote a contract and asked the four Republicans on the statewide ticket to sign it. Put Floridians first. Put our freedoms first. In writing, in public, before the election instead of after it.

Four offices. Four signatures. No partial credit.

If they sign, we show up. If they do not, each of us decides for ourselves in November.

Read it and pledge your vote: www.contractwithflorida.com

Education creates understanding. Understanding creates motivation. And motivation creates action.

Everyone learns differently, but once people understand what’s at stake, they’re ready to get involved. The next step? Make it easier for them to take action.

Educate. Motivate. Empower.

Public pressure can move mountains.

Change doesn’t always start in the Capitol building. Sometimes it starts with ordinary people showing up, speaking out, asking questions, and refusing to let an issue disappear.

Keep pressing. Keep speaking. Keep showing up.

Never underestimate the power of people who refuse to be ignored.

Fear. Control. Repeat.

Is that really the recipe we want for Florida’s future?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Speak up.

08/11/2026

Republicans and Democrats are speaking up.

When both sides are raising concerns about Florida’s data center boom, it’s time to pay attention.

This issue is bigger than party politics.

🚨 Gov. DeSantis weighed in on the 2026 Florida GOP primary yesterday— pulling the curtain back on how campaigns really work and saying Paul Renner "would be really good" as governor.

"I think he'd be really good. He's got a great record of policy."

A $28 million clinical trial is happening right now at USF Health, funded by the State of Florida, to help veterans with traumatic brain injury. It's enrolling now. It's free. And most Florida families have never heard of it.

The trial studies hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans with TBI: a gold-standard, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study led by Dr. Harry van Loveren at USF Health's Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Repair. It was spearheaded by former Speaker Paul Renner, a retired Naval officer who used his position as to fund alternative therapies for veterans instead of leaving them with pills and a six-month follow-up appointment.

The results from earlier studies are hard to ignore: improved neurocognitive function in 21 of 25 measures, reduced PTSD and post-concussive symptoms across pooled DOD data, and over 31,000 patients treated nationwide with documented results.

Participants receive 40 HBOT sessions, full cognitive and neurobehavioral testing, bloodwork, and a stipend, all at zero cost. The staff running the program are veterans themselves.

If you are a veteran or service member with a diagnosed TBI, or you love someone who is, visit hbot.usf.edu and fill out the interest form.
Veterans gave everything for this country. The least we can do is make sure they know this exists.
