Lakewood Youth Sports (LYS) - baseball, softball, t-ball awards ceremony! So grateful for our volunteers and amazing staff who have now made LYS possible for 70 years and counting!! Incredible.

Excited to announce that girls flag football will be offered for the first time starting with the 2026 fall season. Sign-ups are underway.

Providing no/low cost and high quality sports programs that are open to the youth of our community (including surrounding communities) remains a Lakewood core value. Just one of the traditions that makes Lakewood such a special place.

Top it off with tasty bites on the course and an incredible raffle of over 50 prizes including, a 65” TV, a power tool set, a Ninja grill and much, much more. Only $150 per golfer to enter, buy as many raffle tickets as you want! All proceeds benefit the Lakewood Education Foundation annual classroom grant program.

Last night began a new term on the Lakewood City Council. I am deeply honored to serve our city which means so much to me. I will continue doing my best to protect and preserve our community for everyone who lives, works, and visits here. I remain humbled by and grateful for the opportunity. Thank you Lakewood!

Lakewood Sheriff’s Station is aware of a social media posts pertaining to a gathering today in the City of Lakewood.

We will be actively monitoring the area.
