Lead-Safe Lancaster and Lead-Free Families are hosting a National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week event at The Lancaster Science Factory (454 New Holland Avenue) on Saturday, October 28, from 11 AM -2 PM. Interactive displays about lead hazards, scattered throughout the existing exhibits and activities, will teach more about the dangers of lead and help you access FREE PROGRAMS to test for lead and eliminate lead hazards in homes. Funding for these FREE PROGRAMS is generously provided by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Mid-Atlantic Region (HUD) and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.
