During this past year, as we struggled to adjust to a national pandemic and a community divided, our parents and teachers were looking to our local leaders to provide communication, direction and compassion in a transparent way. What many found instead was swift actions that at times were short sighted, contradictory or frankly absent. Our teachers were asked to step up and be more innovative and communicative, they deserve their leadership to step up and do the same for them. After much thought, prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided it is time to step up for my community. This past week I filed to run for Mesquite ISD School Board of Trustees Place 7. Using my strong people skills, work ethic and progressive thinking I hope to encourage members of our community to take an active role as accountability partners in improving the CITY of MESQUITE. I can't do this on my own, and I don't want to. Its going to take us all working together to make this happen. Let's get to it. There is a way for everyone to contribute our campaign. If you can walk, come walk with us. If you can call, come call with us. If you want to contribute financially no gift is too small. Together we can pave the road to success for all our children.
