Southbound Route 222 ramp to eastbound Route 30 will be placed in a stop condition this Monday night at 9 p.m. (Aug. 31) to Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 6 a.m. at the Route 30/Route 222 Interchange Improvement Project in Lancaster County. Vehicles from southbound Route 222 must stop before merging onto eastbound Route 30. This may cause delays.

🌟Find the helpers… 🌟Kudos to the Public Utilities Commission ViceChair Barrow for her persistence in reducing utility costs to customers at the August PUC board meeting. She highlighted that the quarterly utility earnings need to be brought down and that the cost seems too far above the true cost of capital, which led to Chairman DeFrank requesting a review of the rate-making process ‼️This, combined with many other PA State House legislative proposals could bring some relief to our ENORMOUS affordability problems here in PA.

🎨Public art is critical for sharing community stories. Be sure to check out the display inside the Lancaster Amtrak train station to see mini-exhibits of 4 artists whose works can be found in the greater Lancaster community. Thanks to funding from the Neighborhood Art Project through the National Endowment for the Arts, more of us can learn more from and about each other🎨

Senator Malone and I bused it to Central Market! It’s Red Rose transit staff like Greg Downing, Czarina Ellis, our bus operator David, and so many others that KEEP LANCASTER MOVING🌟🚍 Great sharing the bus ride with Vision Corps staff, too! I got to spend time at Central Market with Alana Cassel, owner of the Berry Basket Boutique. I had an empanada at Havana Juice, iced decaf at Lancaster Co Coffee Roasters, and a peanut butter long John at Marley’s Country Goods. Thank you for the ride, Red Rose Transit🌹🌟
