Over the weekend twelve MANRRS Club members represented the School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences at the 2019 MANRRS Regional Cluster Meeting held in Oklahoma City. Other schools attending were Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Lincoln, Prairie View, and Southern. All twelve students had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews and to attend a career fair with companies such as John Deere, Land of Lakes, Cargill, Merck, and others. Several of our students were encouraged to complete internship applications as a result of these interviews.

The club President, Brenda Hollins, did a wonderful job with her PowerPoint presentation highlighting the club's activities at the opening session. Five students participated in contests. Audia Jones took part in the Lincoln – Douglas Debate. Perrier Flannigan and KaTerria Williams participated in the Elevator Speech Contest. Zoe McGowan and Samad Weston participated in the Impromptu Speech contest. They all represented Langston University with great pride.
