Our military personnel, veterans and their families have dedicated their lives to keeping our country safe - the least we can do is help their transition back into civilian life. By introducing bipartisan legislation that reduces barriers to professional licensure we can get our dedicated military service members back to work and back on track.

So happy to see the historic preservation work continue!

Some amazing news: Farmington has received a $85,000 grant for the Governor Warner Mansion through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity.

Farmington owes a huge thank-you to State Representative Christine Greig, House Democratic Leader, who secured this funding in the state budget for our 153-year-old treasure. While the City budget includes money for repairs to the Warner Mansion, the state grant will enable us to do work that goes far beyond what our own budget can afford. Total repairs are estimated at more than half a million dollars.

From Greig:
“Working with Governor Whitmer and my legislative colleagues, I am extremely pleased to secure $85,000 for the Governor Warner Mansion renovations that will preserve this historic home in downtown Farmington for years to come. As we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution during the 100th Michigan Legislature in August, it is an honor to recognize Governor Warner’s legacy — who believed in women’s suffrage and worked toward making it a reality in Michigan.”

This is her last term in office, and I am so grateful that she chose helping the Warner Mansion as one of her final contributions to her Farmington constituents.

Curious what your position is on funding for public schools ie FPS when they choose remote learning over in classroom teaching. All our hard earned taxpayer money going to support school funding and they don't even want to show up and teach! FPS one of the highest paid in the State? Parents are pulling their kids out and moving to Private or home schooling! I want my money back!
I'm on line now with the ACLU of Michigan, working for pre-trial reform. #SmartJusticMi
Just watched your interview this morning. You might not of had protesters show up with guns had your capital staff not man-handled those ladies a few weeks back after exercising their right to observe a public meeting! Throwing them to the ground? The one was willfully moving along, and then gets thrown to the ground? Where's the concerned the for citizens roughed up and abused by those staff members?
Rep Greig, you need to get PPE to hospitals and healthcare workers NOW. I know an ER doc treating people wearing a mask we found in my garage and reusing it day after day. This is unacceptable. There are N95 masks, surgical masks, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer sitting in people's basements and garages that they will donate if they know how. There are stores of PPE supplies in school and university labs and in private businesses all being unused RIGHT NOW. Figure out a way to get it to the hospitals. ASAP.
Good morning - I'm a Farmington Hills resident and I'm asking you to please cosponsor Rep. Shannon's bill that would ban declawing cats in Michigan. Declawing is an inhumane and cruel practice and needs to be stopped. Please support this measure to ensure the safety of Michigan's cats. Thank-you!
Thank you, Christine, for attending the 10th District Democratic dinner in Imlay City today. Your support and encouragement are greatly appreciated.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for not playing partisan politics. I totally realize there are issues on both sides of the isle. Thank you for your hard work in coming up with a budget plan that was workable. Not from a Republican or Democrat advantage or bias but for the good of Michigan families. Your act of courage to stand up and do what is right despite of some being mad at you for not siding with wrong intensions and temper-tantrums is truly commendable and appreciated. ~Kerry Lynn
Can you please explain why this law is a good thing? Are there any inaccuracies in Mr. Albom’s writing?
Hi, I am curious - why did you vote no on the bill to lower insurance rates?
I am curious if you agree with Whitmer on this 45 cent tax increase on gas? Seeing alot of negative comments and I agree that their are other options to tax cigarette's, marijuana or just take the road money from the money already put aside for roads! we already have the highest gas prices in the US....
What is your position on road repair funding?
