It's Election Day! To everyone who has participated in early voting and to those who have yet to cast their ballot. This is a unifying day that makes our country different from the rest of the world. No matter what political side of the aisle you stand on, be safe and be respectful of others who want their voice to be heard. Best, Gary

Despite challenging times due to COVID-19, we approved a budget yesterday that protects and maintains investments in what matters most to Michigan families and taxpayers – without growing state government and without raising taxes.

Michigan taxpayers want a state government that respects their hard work and sacrifices while investing in what matters most to them.

Friends,

Michigan drivers will finally be able to see savings on their car insurance rates.

After nearly 50 years of being forced to pay for the most expensive car insurance rates in the nation, the Legislature approved historic no-fault reforms to guarantee reduced car insurance rates for all Michigan drivers. These long-overdue reforms, which are now law, take effect today, July 1.

Drivers all across our state will now have more affordable options to help protect them and their families.

Visit www.ReduceMIRatesNow.com for more information on how to receive the rate relief you deserve.

Best of luck,

Gary

Legislators: Governor needs a new map for reopening Michigan’s economy

Please click the link below to read my recent comments regarding the Governor's plan to reopen our state. To highlight, the Governor's plan is to bundle the counties of St. Clair and Lapeer with Metro Detroit when determining future actions she deems necessary for reopening our region.

http://gophouse.org/legislators-governor-needs-a-new-map-for-reopening-michigans-economy-3/

A group of Michigan House members today said the governor should revise an initial COVID-19 economic reopening map that places St. Clair and Lapeer counties in the Metro Detroit region.

02/26/2020

Yesterday, I spoke on behalf of my sponsored House Resolution 227.

My resolution's sole purpose was to reaffirm the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms in Michigan.

I’m committed to defending and advancing the all of fundamental liberties our Founding Fathers laid out in the Constitution – especially the Second Amendment, which is constantly under attack by those who want to limit the right of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves, their families and their property. We must stand strong against government overreach and ensure all law-abiding citizens continue to have the right to protect themselves in Michigan.

With that, I am proud to say that the resolution was adopted by the House with wide-ranging bi-partisan support.

Below is a link to the resolution.

Wondering how much of absentee ballots can be seen by clerks during processing. Could someone see who you are voting for and destroy or disable your ballot? Will there be local party monitors watching?
Down with inept Whitmer's UIA agenda !!!
A Republican Michigan state lawmaker threatened people in his district who protested police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s alleged murder. On May 30, Gary Eisen, a state representative who owns the concealed-carry education business Michigan Personal Protective Training, captioned a photo of gun magazines posted to his page: “I was at my shop this morning working, and an older guy came in. We started talking about the protesters and the riots... He said, ‘You know all those protesters are Liberals’ I said ‘how do you know that’ .... he said ‘Liberals look for trouble and civil unrest and Conservatives PREPARE for it’ hmm, so i thought maybe I will load up a few more mags…” Demonstrations organized by the local NAACP and Black Lives Matter chapters began two days later.

If I lived in your district, I would not vote for you. This is not a partisan decision. From your recent comments on social, it’s clear that you’re part of the problem.
Gary, I hear you're planning on packin' to confront protesters--great idea--start with the white trash that invaded the State Capital this month. Or, are THEY your constituents? Great leadership--as thoughtful and considered as that of our President.
Are you available to address and/or explain why you recently posted that only liberal protestors cause unrest and division? Or that it was necessary to stock up on ammunition? Do you intend to bring the threat of lethal force against Americans exercising their rights?
I think you should be respectful, if you on loading more clips, Resign your position and go join the military for your toy time.
Keeping it "classy". 💩
So, does this mean you are going to shoot Democrats?
Today I got a notification from my HR department that I now have to fill out and sign a "Daily Personal Heath Assessment Form" every day to be able to attend work. They say it's due to Governor Whitmer's executive order. Now the daily workings of my bathroom dealings become knowledge of my employer or I lose my job??? Seriously? What is the Legislature doing to stop this tyranny?
Where is Michigan on red flag laws? Take a look at this video on how Oklahoma made them illegal.
