Good Monday Morning, Two short weeks away from election day. We are looking for volunteers to be present at the polls and encourage a Yes Vote for EMS. We are hoping for 3 hour shifts, (or more). Yesterday’s tragic accident exposes some of the horrific moments first responders experience. First our prayers are for those families that lost lives. Second for those responders involved attempting to save lives. Our hearts break for both.

Lapeer County EMS was formed in 1997 by combining Lapeer Area Ambulance, North Branch Area Ambulance and Imlay City Public Safety- All municipal agencies. This merger as defined in the Inter Local agreement as "WHEREAS, it is the desire of Lapeer Area Ambulance Service Inc. North Branch Township, and Imlay city to merge to do business as Lapeer County Emergency Medical Services in order to retain local control of ambulance service while providing efficient service to the public.

LCEMS is not an ambulance company. LCEMS is a public service agency, formed to RETAIN LOCAL CONTROL OF AMBULANCE SERVICE.

VOTE YES AUGUST 6TH to retain LOCAL CONTROL.
