Yesterday was a great day for the Michigan Envirothon Region 5 Competition held at Fish Lake Environmental Education Center!

Seven teams competed with all seven qualifying for the State Competition to be held at Northern Michigan University in May!

Congratulations to the top three teams of the day!
First Place - OSTC AM
Second Place - GCI Sustainability Squad
Third Place - Caro Carbon Crushers

Also a HUGE THANK YOU to our volunteers! Without the help of our volunteers, events like this would not be possible! Staff from Lapeer CD, Tuscola CD, Oakland Conservation District & Blue Water Conservation District - Sanilac and St Clair Counties, along with the resource professionals that took the time out of their day to come and teach the teams, we could not have done it without you! Thank you to Fish Lake Enviromental Education Center for continuing to host us!

Interested in getting a team togther in the future? Contact us and we can help you or check out the Michigan Envirothon page or website!
