Here comes the sun...flowers! Come out to Luhr County Park on Wednesday, September 9 at 5 PM for All About: Sunflowers. We'll learn all about these beautiful flowers, paint a sunflower on an old record, and try some delicious sunflower cookies all for FREE. Please register by calling (219)325-8315.

Let nature inspire you at the next Wandering Watercolors at Creek Ridge County Park on Tuesday, September 8th from 10 AM-12 PM. We'll meet at the Lion's Shelter, take a short walk around the park to find inspiration, then head back to make a journal style watercolor painting. All ages welcome. This program is now FREE! We can't thank our County Highway crew enough. We saw them working around the corner from Red Mill removing debris and made a call to see if they could remove this pile in the parking lot since they were close. In less than an hour it was gone! Thank you to all our county workers still out there cleaning up from the storms!!!!
