Shane Swett is running for Wyoming House District 13 and says the healthcare system is broken because insurance companies are allowed to chase profits instead of just covering care.
He points out the waste: $100,000 NASCAR hoods and $500,000 Super Bowl commercials.
Meanwhile, deductibles that used to be around $100 in the 1980s are now $12,000 or more.
Some people are skipping insurance altogether, saving the premium money themselves, and paying cash because the billed rates are lower when you don’t have coverage.
Shane’s position is straightforward — stop letting insurance companies profit off the system and force it back to actually taking care of people.
Vote November 3, 2026.

The November 3, 2026 General Election is approaching. If you're planning to vote absentee, here's what you need to know.

✅ STEP 1 — REQUEST YOUR BALLOT
Registered Wyoming voters can request an absentee ballot before Election Day.

✅ STEP 2 — COMPLETE & SIGN
Follow the instructions included with your ballot and sign the required affidavit on your ballot envelope.

✅ STEP 3 — RETURN YOUR BALLOT
Return your completed ballot by mail, in person, or through Albany County's secured ballot drop box.

⏰ IMPORTANT DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 3 AT 7:00 P.M.

Your absentee ballot must be RECEIVED by the Albany County Clerk's Office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
