In other words, can you think beyond what you hear from your leaders, (be they political or religious)? Can you question what they say, analyze and think for yourself about their statements? Can you carefully listen to views from those with whom you disagree in order to determine if you might
learn s

omething? Can you vote for a candidate according to his/her views and position regardless of party affiliation? If you can honestly answer yes to all of the above, then you are already an honored member of the Independent Party of patriotic citizens who seek ways to preserve our great nation and the principles upon which is was created. When questioning candidates, make it a point to ask them, “what are your principles?”

Ask them if they are bold enough to be a representative of all their constituents in order to balance their need to appease their party leaders while pressing for reforms through the art of friendly persuasion.
