Ok, so with the current Primaries/ Caucuses starting up, I feel the need to point out the obvious to those that have not been up to date.
So, in the Republican Iowa Caucus, it appeared that Nikki, came in a close third, and won 1 County. Wrong! Both Democrats and Independents can switch parties at the poll location. It is my guess that 1/3 of her "Republican" votes were not Republicans. And as far as the single County she "won", this was by a single vote- they ran out of paperwork to switch parties.
Again, in New Hampshire, it appears the same will happen, as the Election bureau has the same rule of same day ability to switch parties. (Note: If ONLY TRUE REPUBLICANS voted, Imagine President Trump's dominance in the percentage of votes.)
Now South Carolina (with a more proper Primary) appears to be a gimme for Trump.
And for those in Nevada, Tricky Nicky properly pulled away from the Caucus as she would not be able to receive Democrat votes. And now you know why we have a Caucus in Nevada.
By the way, about 2 years ago, I saw Nikki speak. Articulate, and intelligent. I thought she was a big possibility for Trump's VP. After seeing her Democrat support, she can get lost.

It is almost time to get out and vote, or send in your mail-in ballot. Before you do, consider the consequence of your vote. This is copied in part from a post I made in November 2020. Yes, 2 years ago. I saw it coming. Unfortunately, it came true.
"You will get higher prices for everything (gas, food shopping), higher interest rates (charge cards, mortgages, buying a car), loss of freedom of speech, loss of jobs due to manufacturers moving out of country (maybe your job), higher health care costs- or loss of jobs due to employers not being able to afford paying for you (now you can work 2 30 hour/week jobs with no health insurance instead of 1 40 hour week-"affordable health care act"), new foreign war(s), affirmative action (for everybody but you), higher taxes and a worse school system than before."
Vote the Democrats out of office and return our Country and Nevada to the way it was before. Vote Republican. Vote Palmer for Assembly.

This is in reference to NV Energy raising prices due to higher natural gas prices. Enclosed in the "Inflation Reduction Act" were extra taxes on oil, coal, and natural gas. Would this be inflation reduction or just another Federal tax imposed on the citizenry. Seems like the same to me. Hey all of you legislators, next time, read the small print.
