The Cliffs is a 450-acre residential village located in the southernmost tip of Summerlin at Hualapai Way and Sunset Road. It will eventually be home to 11 neighborhoods encompassing up to 1,700 single-family and multi-family homes. Nestled along the base of the Spring Mountains, The Cliffs draws its name from the rugged ridgeline that forms the backdrop to the village. The sloping topography naturally demands rugged contemporary architectural designs that blend with the surrounding environment. Neighborhoods in The Cliffs village will maximize views of the valley and the adjacent Spring Mountains, with some neighborhoods specifically sited and terraced to allow for unobstructed views. To further maintain the area’s natural beauty, parcels of land within the village have been set aside to remain undeveloped. Small parks and long walking paths with elevated rest stops and open spaces for overlooks are planned throughout the village to connect the Summerlin Trail System.
