Female responders take note πŸ—’οΈ

1. The way you care for others makes a difference, even when you don't see it.
2. You are so much more than your title, badge or rank πŸ“›
3. Real strength is knowing you do not have to sacrifice who you are to what you do. πŸ’ͺ
4. It is okay (preferable) to make time for yourself.
5. You deserve friends that fill your cup πŸ₯€ not just take from it
6. The woman behind the uniform matters just as much as the work she does.

You are Beautiful.Brave.Resilient !!

There’s a quote by Louisa May Alcott that I’ve always loved:

β€œI am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.”

What if the goal of life isn’t to avoid the storms?

Maybe it’s to learn how to navigate them.

We will have seasons that shake us. Careers that challenge us. Relationships that change us. Moments that leave us questioning what comes next.

But every storm teaches us something.

It teaches us how to adjust our sails.
How to trust ourselves.
How to change direction when necessary.
How to ask for help.
How to keep moving when the waters get rough.

And eventually, you realize something powerful:

You don't need a life without storms. You need confidence in your ability to sail through them.

So if you're in a storm right now, don't assume you're lost.

You may simply be learning how to sail a little better.

Beautiful. Brave. Resilient.
Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep sailing. 🌊🀍

Trauma is inevitable when you choose a career as a first responder, but it does not have to result in leaving a job you love and enjoy. 🚨

It is how we deal with the events, challenges, and critical incidents we respond to on a daily basis.

The career can make its mark on us each day.
It is crucial that we learn and practice habits to replenish and rebalance each day as well. βš–οΈ

This is your community to share tools, to talk, to find balance, to support one another. ✨

Keep loving your career πŸš’πŸš“πŸš‘- but always remember to love yourself more! πŸ’•πŸ’ͺ

What don't you say out loud?

1. It can be exhausting to always be the strongest
2. We don't know how to turn off work
3. We miss parts of who we was before the job
4. We take care of others but rarely ourselves
5. Wishing for other women around me who understand
6. We don't want the job to change our authentic self

The side of being a woman in law enforcement that noone talks abouy

* You're expected to be "one of the guys," but you're also expected to carry the emotional load.

*You learn to suppress your feminine side because it can feel like a liability at work.

*You become so independent that receiving help starts to feel uncomfortable.

*You carry the weight of proving you belong in a male-dominated profession.
You spend your shift protecting everyone else, then go home and continue taking care of everyone there, too

We all crawl before we walk, but once we are up there is no stopping us.

Although reverting back might be easier when we stumble, it is not the path to take.
Steady yourself,
take a breath,
stand strong and
Lets Go Girl!!
