FREE Food Distribution in Lauderdale Lakes!

The City of Lauderdale Lakes, in partnership with Farm Share, is helping local families put fresh, nutritious food on the table.

Join us Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a FREE Food Distribution featuring fresh produce, pantry items and other essential food items.

Hazelle P. Rogers Multi-Purpose Auditorium
4340 NW 36th St., Lauderdale Lakes

Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

We are super excited to share an upcoming HEAL Hunger Food Distribution, taking place on Saturday, August 29, 2026!
Their goal is to provide groceries to 250 local families in our community to assist with our community’s food insecurity.

Free Breast Cancer Awareness & Community Health Fair

Save the Date: Supporting Health, Awareness and Community Wellness in Lauderdale Lakes

The City of Lauderdale Lakes invites residents and community members to attend the Free Breast Cancer Awareness & Community Health Fair, presented by Commissioner Karlene Maxwell-Williams, on Oct. 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this free community event will bring residents together to promote breast cancer awareness, prevention, early detection and overall health and wellness. Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with health and community resources while learning more about taking proactive steps toward healthier lives.

Breast cancer awareness remains an important part of encouraging individuals and families to understand risk factors, prioritize recommended screenings and become more informed about available resources and support.
