Registrant Sign-In on Parade Day: Begins at 8:00 am
Theme: "Laveen Vibes"
Judging Criteria: Theme, Originality, and Appearance (judging takes place from 9:45am to 10:30am).
Parade Route: Dobbins Road, from 43rd Avenue to 51st Avenue

Additional Important Information
All participants must print and sign their names and give emergency contact information on the Waiver & Assumption of Risk form. Parents/Legal Guardians must sign next to their child’s name if the child is under 18 years of age.
All motorized vehicles should be equipped with emergency brakes and must be operated by individuals with a valid driver’s license. Proof of vehicle insurance (a copy) must be provided when entries are submitted.
No balloons, please, due to horse entries.
Candy and other items can only be HANDED to the spectators and cannot be thrown.
Please make sure that your entry is G-rated as we have many children in the audience

We are honored to announce Fern Zelmanovics Ward as this year’s Parade Grand Marshal!

A proud Laveen resident since 1982, Fern has dedicated more than four decades to strengthening and supporting our community. Her commitment to public education and her previous service on the Laveen Elementary School District Governing Board reflect her deep passion for helping Laveen thrive.

Fern and her husband, Richard, helped organize Laveen’s first baseball program in 2013 and later founded the all-volunteer Laveen Baseball League, now in its sixth year, serving more than 600 children, regardless of their ability to play or pay. Her impact also extends through her work with the Phoenix Police Foundation, the PTSA, the Laveen Fire District Board, and the Laveen Community Council.

The Laveen Lions Club Penny Drive kicks off this week and concludes on Friday, December 12th. All Laveen Elementary School District homeroom classes will have a container where students can put coins that they would like to donate. All proceeds from the Penny Drive go to support students and families in need during the holiday season.
