It’s almost the 4th of July and once again your Gumlog Volunteer Fire Department will be asking the community to help us better serve you!! We will be posted at Tugaloo State Park Road and at Poplar Springs Road on July the 5th at 10 am having a boot drive!! Any amount helps!!! We will have a special gift for all kids that are in the vehicles!

With your help last year we were able to buy a fire blanket to use on electric vehicle fires and also an emergency plug for electric vehicle!

Today the we had the pleasure of educating a groups of FCHS students in Ms. Bently’s health class on proper use and safety of fire extinguishers! They also got to look and try on some of the SCBA’s. Thanks for having us FCHS and Ms. Bently
