Today, we're proud of what grassroots organizing can do.
DCYDA was the first Young Dems chapter to endorse Cindy Holscher for Governor. We backed her with conviction, and today that conviction paid off.
We also stood behind Ethan Spurling in his challenge to a wealthy incumbent on the Douglas County Commission. He won, proving that grassroots power can beat money.
And Suzanne Wikle, our HD-10 state rep, faced a primary opponent who couldn't run on substance and leaned on personal attacks instead. Kansans saw through it, and she won with over 75% of the vote.
Three races. Three wins. This is what young Democrats organizing with purpose looks like.
Thank you to every single member who gave their time and energy to assist in winning these races, your contributions will not be forgotten. Onward to November! less
